  • Corporation Bank Public Library(Recently Built), Mohandas. K (guest) wrote 10 years ago:
Corporate Social Irresponsibility [CSIR]. Better close it and save the society than managing in present shape. Bank is not interested to maintain it. Stocks of books not updated. Colonial rules. Most student-unfriendly. But no other options for them. City corporation should take over the building and run an orphanage.

Even much younger to him used to address him as Esma Varadu. His footwear business ended in the year 1966. Later in the year 1967, he was instrumental in establishing a flourishing poultry farm by name " Ganesh Poultry Farms" in Mangalore. This farm had to wounded up in 1971 due to pandemics to the live stocks and finally he had to migrate to Bangalore in search of new business. In the year 1972, Esma Varadu started a restaurant business " Mangaloire Lunch Home" at Journalist's Colony, Bangalore. It was noble beginning in a small premise which later turned in to a fairly huge place. This restaurant used to serve Mangalorean cuisine - Vegeterian, Fish and chicken delicacies. This was for the first time Bangaloreans had the opportunity to savour and enjoy coastal delicacies. Esma Varadu died of lung cancer on 14th December 1989 after a brief illness in Bangalore. He was survived by his wife Smt. Lalitha, his six sons, daughter-in-laws, only daughter, son-in-law and grand children during his death
